To help Square Card holders save money while supporting the local community, we've partnered with Mastercard® to increase your regular 2.75% instant discount to 10%. The instant discount applies only on purchases made at other Square businesses with your Square Card. The increase to 10% is effective from April 13 to May 10.* All sellers with an active Square Card are automatically enrolled to benefit from instant discounts at other Square sellers.
You can view details about your purchases and instant discounts in the Balance section of your Square app by tapping All Activity; tap an individual transaction to get more detail on it.
To find local Square businesses:
You can find local Square businesses to support through our recently launched online seller directory. The directory features a local business map that allows you to search for Square businesses that are open for pickup and delivery near you and businesses that are currently selling eGift Cards. Just type in your address or ZIP code. You’ll then see a list of all the local businesses using Square. When you go to checkout, enter your Square Card card number under Payment Information to receive the instant discount.
