Square Payroll partnered with leading benefit providers to allow small businesses to offer competitive benefit packages to their employees. Business owners can now enroll in health insurance, 401(k), pre-tax spending, and workers’ compensation directly from their online Payroll dashboard. Once the benefit is set up, contributions and deductions sync automatically with Square Payroll so there’s no worry about information syncing across multiple systems.

 

Easily access benefits offered by our partners — SimplyInsured, AP Intego, Guideline, and Alice — through Square Payroll, including:

 

  • Health insurance: SimplyInsured offers medical, dental, and vision plans from top health insurance companies.
  • Workers’ compensation insurance: AP Intego offers pay-as-you-go workers’ compensation so you’re only billed for actual hours worked and never have to pay a lump sum up front.
  • 401(k) retirement plan: Guideline’s all-inclusive plan has no management fees or hidden costs, giving you access to the lowest-portfolio-fee plan in the industry.

Interested in offering benefits to your employees? Visit your Square Payroll dashboard to get started:

 

  1. Log in to the Payroll section of your Square Dashboard. If you haven’t created a Square Payroll account yet, signing up only takes a few steps - check out our Support Center for more information.
  2. Click Benefits > select the Benefit.
  3. Click Start Setup. Square Payroll syncs your business information with the benefit provider so that you can enroll quickly and easily.
  4. Once you’ve enrolled in a benefit, employees with online accounts will be invited to enroll on their own—no extra work for you.

 

Once enrolled in a benefit, Square Payroll automatically syncs deductions and contributions with every pay run.
