1. [Improvement] Manage your Items with the Items Applet in Square for Restaurants

Weโve made it faster and easier to manage your items and modifiers directly from your Restaurant POS. Today, restaurant operators and managers create and manage items from their Square Dashboard. Now, with the Items applet, you can manage your items directly from the Restaurant Point of Sale (POS). Updates made on the POS always stay in sync with Square Dashboard so you can spend less time in the back and get back to your guests.
2. [New] Advanced Text & Image layout for Square Online

At Square Online, we have launched a number of features to help you bring a new level of brand expression to your site to enforce your brand, engage customers, and drive conversions. We are excited to announce a new advanced layout for the Text and image section. You can now individually control the content in each group, change the column width and have much more control over spacing, making it easier to create unique-looking pages for your website.
3. [New] Square Online Website Themes

We are excited to announce Square Online website themes available for all new Square Online sellers. Bring your brand full circle with Square Online themes.Every customer interaction with your brand is an opportunity to build loyalty. With flexible website themes and detailed design customization features, Square Online lets you give customers the same unique branded shopping experience online that you offer in person.
4. [New] Tare for weighted items on Square for Retail
๐ท๏ธ Square Retail POS
Weโre excited to announce that you can now deduct tare weights from items sold by weight directly through your Square for Retail point of sale. This new tare functionality allows you to remove the weight of containers or other packaging that shouldnโt be included in what you charge your customers; something that could previously only be managed on the scale itself.
5. [Reminder] Square KDS is moving to Android
๐ท๏ธ Square Restaurant KDS
This is a reminder that the Square KDS app will be available only on Android starting June 2024. You will no longer have access to the iOS KDS app at that point. To continue using Square KDS, you will need to migrate any active devices over to Android devices. Weโre here to help make your transition as smooth as possible.
6. [New] A simple new way to create Item Descriptions in way less time

Writing good descriptions for every single item you sell takes up a ton of time. Time that you donโt have, especially during the busy holiday season. Now, itโs easier than ever to make sure every item has an accurate and compelling description to help it sell.
7. [New] Introducing Square Loyalty Tiers

Weโre excited to introduce Tiers for Square Loyalty! Now you can offer exclusive rewards and perks based on your customer's progress within your loyalty program. Available now to all businesses using Square Loyalty.
8. [New] Set fulfillment methods for your items directly from Square Dashboard
๐ท๏ธ Square Dashboard
You can now set the fulfillment method for your items directly from the Item Library in your Square Dashboard. Select Shipping, Pickup, Local delivery and/or Self-serve ordering to determine how your customers will receive their orders. Previously, you could only set a fulfillment method on an item by navigating to Square Online > Site Items > Edit Item or via bulk workflows in the Square Online Catalog.
