You can now send invoices and estimates without copying an invoice link or leaving Square’s POS or online Dashboard. When you send an invoice to a customer via the Invoices page of your Square Dashboard or directly within Messages, it makes it much easier for you and your customer to communicate about the details of the invoice. The whole conversation stays in one place so you can stay organized and get paid faster.
What are some key benefits of sending invoices or estimates within Messages on your Dashboard?
Create an invoice and send it in seconds.
Create an invoice or estimate and send it through Square Messages as a text or email.
Make the back-and-forth easier.
Invoices and estimates shouldn’t involve so many texts, emails, and follow-up calls. Get everything squared away quickly with two-way communication.
Keep all your conversations in Messages.
Whether you send an invoice or estimate via text or email, the conversation lives within Messages in your Square Dashboard.
To send new or existing invoices and estimates from the Invoices page of your account.
- Go to Invoices in your Square Dashboard or the Invoices app on your mobile device.
- Edit your invoice or estimate.
- Under Communication, select Text message or Email as the “Share via” option.
- Click or tap Send.
Your invoice or estimate will be automatically shown within a message to your customer in Square Messages.
To create and send an invoice or estimate to a customer within Messages:
- Click on the plus sign.
- Click on Invoice or Estimate.
- Create your invoice or create an estimate.
- Click Send.
The ability to send an invoice or estimate directly from Square Messages is only available in your online Square Dashboard at this time, but will be coming soon to iOS and Android.
