Square Appointments: We’ve improved your client’s booking experience

We want to provide you with the best scheduling and payment tools for your business, and that includes solutions that give your clients a delightful experience across any touchpoint with your business. Your online booking site is an extension of your business and your brand, so we know it serves an important role in your client’s journey whether booking their first or hundredth appointment.


That’s why we’re launching a new design for your online booking site — a simpler, more elegant booking experience that kept your clients and your business goals in mind through its creation. Knowing how critical the booking process is for many of you, we aimed to launch this refresh without sacrificing any existing functionality and ensuring existing clients can easily transition to the improved experience.




How to get started


If you already have your online booking site set up, the new booking experience will be automatically live for your clients over the coming weeks — no additional action required!


If you currently have your online booking site disabled, simply navigate to the Online Booking tab of your Appointments dashboard to reactivate your site and allow clients to quickly book your services. Keep in mind that if you’re managing multiple locations, each location will have a unique booking URL and set up page that can be viewed by switching locations from the Online Booking tab.


Other options for online booking


In addition to your online booking site, we provide a variety of other free ways for your clients to book with you.


  • Create a full-service custom, professional website with Square Online Store. It allows your customers to book appointments, purchase items, and stay up to date with your business. Learn more about setting up your custom website.
  • Embed a booking widget or button on your existing website, or add a booking button to your email so clients can easily request appointments based on your availability.
