2 stage payment plan

Hello, 

Ive been asked if I can provide a payment plan for my services, 

The specific request is that my customer would pay in 2 instalments. 

Is this possible?

Hey @Greg-GFX, welcome to the Seller Community! Congrats on your first post here with us! 

 

This is possible if you are using Square Invoices Plus. With this plan, you'll be able to schedule multiple payments for any job or project by setting up a payment schedule based on specific milestones or phases of the job — all from one invoice.

 

To create a progress invoice with a milestone-based payment schedule:

  1. Go to the Square Invoices Overview page and click Create Invoice.
  2. Select a customer from your Customer Directory, or enter a new name and email address or phone number.
  3. Add line items, and optionally apply modifiers, notes, and taxes by clicking Customize.
  4. Select Add Payment Schedule.
  5. Toggle on Request initial deposit, if needed, and Split balance into milestones.
  6. Enter the amount(s) or percentage(s) you have scheduled, select due date(s) and click Save.
  7. Fill out the rest of the invoice details and click Send
