As an American currently living in Canada, am I able to sign up for Square US?

I am a touring musician, and I use Square as my point of sale when I sell merchandise. It has worked great for me in Canada, but I am having trouble signing up for an American account for my upcoming tour. I have an SSN and an American passport, but I do not have a US mailing address, which has proven to be a challenge.

What am I supposed  to do? Is there a solution to this problem?

without a home address in the united states that will be an issue.  I would try using a friend's address, I don't know what the verification process is as long as you have a SSN.  Maybe it is tied to your most recent legal address and it would fail, IDK.  I have seen other people reference having another person in their company or family open an account but I don't like that as you won't have control of the account if somehow there is a problem.
