I want to use Square in Ukraine. I know that Sqaure doesn't work with Ukrainian banks, so I will use it as a simple cash calculator that saves the amounts paid and creates csv-datasets? And do I still need to link my bank account to do this?

yes, you can use Square POS without using Square for credit card processing and without linking a bank account. you can even use a local credit card processor and log the sales in Square POS as "other payment".

This reply was created from merging an existing thread: Using square without processing card transactions
I already am tied to a third-party provider for processing electronic payments, a so only want to use square as a cash register. Can you confirm that I can set up a register without having any linked bank information?
Thanks.

You can definitely use Square to track cash payments, @CatFarm.
