Check out specific customer with cash

Is there a way to check out a customer with cash? I am an independent health and wellness professional and I need to keep track of each one of my clients payments. If they pay with credit card it seems to be no issue but i also need to track their cash payments. Square doesnt seem to have the option of choosing your client name in the system and checking that specific person out with cash. I NEED THAT. Also, i need to be able to check people out in the apointments calender. To show the appt is finished and paid for. HOW DO I DO THIS?
