Customizing payment types with Point of Sale API

Hey thanks SO MUCH for this feature.  However, I'm using a custom POS and calling this screen from the API and althought I disabled cash, it's still showing on the payment screen to the customer.  Is this a bug and will it be fixed?

For reference, I tested it on your Coffee Shop example: https://github.com/square/SquarePointOfSaleSDK-iOS/tree/master/Examples/The%20Coffee%20Shop

@jk123 Thanks for your post. I've just escalated this to our API specialists, and as soon as I have more information I'll let you know.

Hi again @jk123! Our API specialists confirmed that the new custom tender options do not apply to the Point of Sale API. Any changes made in the Settings screen to turn payment types on or off do not apply to transactions made with the API.

Instead, the API itself has always allowed you to define which tender types you want to accept. For example, if you use the POS API and don't want to accept Cash, you can do so by not passing the Cash tender type in the API request. For more information check out the Point of Sale API documentation.

(Also I moved your post to a new thread so my reply doesn't get buried among other posts!)
