Find original date of an open ticket.

How do you find the original date of an open transaction? As of now, every time someone opens that ticket to view it the date refreshes to that moment. We need to find the date of a ticket that has been open for a couple months and the customer is arguing it isn't theirs.

I don't have an answer to your question but are you using invoices?  I only use tickets for transactions that will happen very soon, like a customer building a sale in person that will be closed out same day.  Invoices would give you the ability to write up a sale, add any customer or product info you need and email it to them with date of creation.  Old unpaid invoices can be easily found in the dashboard.
