How does my Loyalty program choose the item to redeem?

For our loyalty program, every 10 drinks they buy they get 1 reward (a free drink). When they get the reward and there are multiple drinks on the order I can't figure out how to have Square automatically choose the least expensive drink as the reward. It always seems to choose the most expensive drink as the reward. Is this possible? Please help! Thanks!

Our loyalty system does indeed try to apply to the most expensive item, but we definitely see how this could be beneficial to adjust the item type based on your preference. At this time we do not have any plans in the pipeline to update this, but our product teams are constantly reviewing our seller feedback. We will let you know if anything changes.
