How to skip the passcode screen in-app with no Team Members

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: how do i reset a passcode if i d not have a team member listed

 

how to reset passcode I do not have a team but I cant access my account without a 4 digot passcode that I didn't set up on my account.

@mshotsuga - hmm, sounds like you need to create an owner's passcode first from Dashboard first to bypass the passcode screen in-app. Then head to your POS app Settings > Passcodes to disable it.

Every screen is asking me for a passcode and I don't have one because I've never set one up I don't know how to bypass it

Hi @michaelrekm,

 

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with passcodes! It's possible you've set up a passcode previously. You can check if a passcode has been set up here.

 

The next step would be to disable passcodes on your point of sale app. Tap More > Settings > Security > turn Passcodes Off.

App is asking for a passcode which I didn't set up. I saw other posts with the same question but the answers merged the questioner to another thread which I don't see any option to click to. (That's a pretty frustrating feature of the discussion format.) I'd like to know how to set a passcode for myself (owner) or skip that screen in the app. - Thanks!
