I took a customer's payment it said declined but it took the money out of account does not show in m
What do you do when you take a customer's payment the card says declined but it shows their account but the money was taken out but it don't show in your square account what do I do

First, check your "Transactions". Look for the date you ran your customer's card. If the transaction indeed went through it will state so here. Inform the customer that you would need to wait until the transaction actually post to her account. Sometimes banks will authorize or place holds on a customer's account but the transaction will actually fall off...meaning it won't post. If it does post and it's still not showing up on your end...please contact Square Support. They will be able to look a little farther behind the scene and should definitely be able to help you out 🙂
