Inventory Ideas for bakery

Hello!

We have a bakery and are looking for ideas how to keep better track of our inventory. We do not have a manager on the clock at all times, so it is dificult for us to enter in each baked good into the square inventory each time it hits the shelf. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to integrate what/amount of each product we bake throughout the day into our register?

 

for example: 6 am we make 12 cookes, 8 am we made 6 inch cake, 10 am we make 2 dozen cupcakes etc. and it continues like that throughout our work day. 

 

We just want to keep track of the items that were made and put on the shelf for sale, to what is actually being sold and rang in.

@Bakedbysusan@Tiny1 - I know you have both posted in the past about bakery-related questions. Would you have any input on how to organize inventory?
