Hello @ChattoogaBelleF! When you create a tax you can choose to apply it to some items and not others. This Seller Community thread has information about creating and applying taxes to your item library.

Or you can remove a tax at checkout, this Comunity thread has the steps to edit taxes during a sale.

Also, from the app you can quickly remove a tax from all the items it has been applied to:

  1. Navigate to the Settings section of the app and tap Taxes
  2. Tap on the name of the tax you'd like to disable.
  3. Tap Applicable Items and then tap Exempt All

Tap Settings > Taxes> the name of a tax > then tap 'Applicable Items'Tap Settings > Taxes> the name of a tax > then tap 'Applicable Items'

This means the tax won't automatically be applied to an item, but if you want to add it back during checkout you'll still have the option to. (When you disable a tax you won't see it at checkout.)
