Location; What is it?

I understand that I need to set up "Locations to accept payments". However, I do not understand what their purpose is or how to set them up. My customers are in the Greater Seattle Area (of Washington State), and thus they will be using my website to book appointments and pay partially in advance. If I am using a Website, then what is the Location?

And back to the original starting question, what IS Location in regards to square?

A location is another way to delineate items for individuals with more than one location for their business. For instance - I have a tap room, a mobile location and a web location. Not all have physical locations, but I can have different menus at each. I can even set different variations for the same item at different locations with different tax rates and prices.

You can set up the location in your dashboard at squareup.com. It will be in the Account & Settings menu.
