New coronavirus laws allowing alcohol to-go and liquor shipping in NYS
So as a distillery in NYS we have recently been allowed to sell cocktails to-go and for delivery. We are also now allowed to ship spirits within the state of NY. The laws were changed due to emergency circumstances and we'd like to offer these products on our online store. Wix hosts our website currently and when we added these new products to our store they shut us down and are now withholding our money for 60 days (which is another saga). Anyway, if we add these new (now legal) products and services to our square online store, will Square do the same thing to us or will there be some leeway given due to extenuating circumstances?

Welcome, @thebetterman -
Great question!
Alcohol sales are allowed, but it's up to you to comply with applicable laws in your state. Since they vary from state to state, we can't enforce all of the different variations.
Thank you for reaching out!
