Square appointments app needs acccess to my microphone

I downloaded the square appointments app to my iPhone and it is requiring access to my camera and mic for payment processing. I just want to use the app to view and manage appointments is this possible. I do not want to use square for payment processing right now

I believe you can continue without granting access, or you could enable it, then manually disable it in settings of your phone.  without that access, Square will not be able to communicate to the Square reader for payments but the app will still work.
