What happens when a customer loses their gift card?

So if a customer uses cash to buy their gift card and loses it a few months later, what happens? Is there anyway to research the number for it?

Hi @Selenahanson, good question. 

You can locate the original purchase of the gift card, or a transaction where it was reloaded, from your Transaction history. With that, you would be able to see the existing balance, and clear the card balance if need be.
