Why aren’t my business hours changing?

How can I get my business hours to stick? I’ve adjusted them and I put my cut off at 7pm and closed on specific date and my clients are still able to pick times past my closing hours, and set up on a date that should be closed

Hey there! Thanks for posting! I want to make sure there isn't any confusion between setting up your business hours and your staff hours:

 

Business Hours control what is displayed at the top of your main booking site page and specify the hours of operation for your business. They can be set from your Location settings in your online Square Dashboard.

 

Staff Hours control when you are bookable by your clients. You can edit staff availability for individual staff members at anytime from the Staff page. You can also customize availability by staff member to make one-off changes to schedules on a weekly basis.

 

Note: Changes made to staff hours don’t affect your overall business hours. For example: Your business hours are set to 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and you’d like to leave your mornings available for walk-in appointments. You would set your business hours to 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (the hours of operation), and set your staff hours to 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (the portion of the day that you accept appointments).

 

I believe this will help, but just make sure you are setting your hours in both fields and hitting save before continuing and your hours should change as you need them. Thank you!

In case anyone else searched the Online Store for the above information, it is accessed from your DASHBOARD.

>Account & Settings from Dashboard, >Business>Locations - select location and update hours.

Hi Ashley,

 

I have changed my hours of operation in the Location Details but they are not updating on my website. In the details they are listed as 11am - 6pm Wednesday - Saturday. My website lists my hours as 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday. I'm not sure how to get it to update and I have saved the changes each time.

Hey @dgadlin- Jumping in here for Ashley today.

 

Are your hours still off? Sometimes there can be a delay from the time you change your hours until the time they actually update.

Tech support helped me correct it. I had two locations and deactivated one of them. Website was pulling info from deactivated location. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello - We have a small restaurant and recently moved over to our 'new' weebly site, and I've been all over these threads since, as there are myriad issues with the integration.

 

I discovered (after hours of frustrated calls from customers saying they were being given a faulty "pickup time") that we actually need to update hours in a couple of different places -- in the LOCATION (https://squareup.com/dashboard/locations) on Square**AND** in PICKUP TIMES on Weebly as those don't automatically sync. I wish it were an option to sync them.

 

Also -- while it seems some of these questions have been answered here -- it would be a HUGE HELP if on the Dashboard Menu (https://squareup.com/dashboard/locations), or ACCOUNTS&SETTING>>BUSINESS>>LOCATION, LOCATION was actually named "LOCATION AND HOURS" so that the user would know to look there to adjust hours (rather than spending an hour on the support threads trying to %^&*ing figure it out.)

I am having the same issue. I have set it many times last night and tonight. I have deleted all times and reentered. Still no luck for website reflection of hours. Please help.

The answer is still not solving my issue.  I've changed restaurant hours in locations, but it is not reflecting the change in my online store.

Hi,

 

I am having an issue with Business Hours and Scheduling Times not linking with each other.  I have Business hours set for my location which is a mobile business.  I chose to block my week or change my hours for a ONE-TIME schedule change, but it doesn't change the Business Hours.  Is it because it's happening on the STAFF Hours side and not for the business as a whole?... Also when I edited one day for a few ours of availability, one of my clients that wanted to schedule couldn't see the open time.  I made that change from the square appointments app.

I linked my square appointments with Google so customers can “book now” on Google for my services. 

In square appointments under settings I set my business hours and I am closed Mondays. 

Google still shows Mondays as available. I even made sure my hours on Google showed I’m closed Mondays. Anyone that’s booking for Monday’s, I have to call and cancel them. 

how do I fix this??
