Why do I have to change my password every two weeks?

every two weeks we get booted out of square on the ipad in the square stand and when we try to log back in, we can't get in and have to go through the 'forgot password' routine to set a new one. This is very annoying and time consuming. Why can't we get logged back in with the 'old' password that isn't very old?

For me to log in to my Square Stand I just use, User Pins.  They are a 4 digit code you can setup.  You can do this as a free member using Square.  You set one up for the owner which is an unrestricted account and you can create another account as Clerk that is limited unless a password is given to gain access.  Saves you from changing passwords, I have not changed mine in awhile and it was a very complex one suggested by Google.
