Hey everyone!  Newbie here!

 

I love square and am currently using the integration with my big commerce site and at my mobile booth in NYC.  The question i have is that my online sales show up in reports as uncategorized.  Is there anyway to sync this up and or give these a proper categorization?

Welcome to the Seller Community and glad to hear Square is working for you thus far. 


Unfortunately there isn't a way to note the inventory sold in Square when you integrate with
BigCommerce. 

 

This is because Square merely serves as the payment processor in this instance, so the transaction will only be identified as "Custom Amount" in your Square Dashboard.

They just show up as uncategorized.  What if I renamed the online items with a specifix suffix (like online")?

 

Would I be able to export and then filter a spreadsheet to display total online sales? 

 

Just picking your brain.  I appreciate the help!

@jb0352 Hmm I'm not sure if that would work either, but it's worth a try!

 

The only thing that Square does is process the payment, so it wouldn't pull in any additional information such as item name.
