I had already slid my clients card and it went through and my iPad froze on the tip section of the transaction. The only thing I could do was close the square appointments app. I figured the transaction went through because it said it did. But I noticed I never received the money in my balance and the ticket never closed. Every time I check my balance there’s a number 1 notification right next to the balance tab. I’m not sure if I should re-enter her card info or wait a couple days? This happened on Tuesday it is now Thursday.

Hmm, sounds like the payment didn't capture but stuck in a pending state. To capture it, visit Dashboard > Reports > Transaction Status Report. Use the date selector to locate the payment and hit Charge next to it.
