How do i merge duplicate products?

Hoping there is a way to merge duplicate products? I see there has been requests for this feature previously but there doesn't appear to be any movement on it? Eg ...say a 'coffee' was added to items at 2 locations (2 separate products called 'coffee'), can I merge those products so they are reported together? Many thanks

Unfortunately, two different items can't be merged into one for reporting purposes. You can report out item sales via categories across multiple locations, but you're right in saying that this is an ongoing feature request that our team is aware of.
