How do you unpair a reader from a device if it is broken and can not be turned on?

We have a card reader that is paired to a tablet. The tablet has been damaged beyond repair and it can not be turned on for us to unpair. How can we pair the reader to another device? Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry to hear about the damage to your tablet! You'll be able to pair your reader to a new device, without the need to unpair from the damaged device. Simply download the Point of Sale app on your other device, sign in and and pair the reader.
