We have a few customers driving 175 feet long trucks. They can call in the middle of the night to get coffee etc. Many of them pay in advance and we keep a record on paper.
This of course means banking is problematic.
Is it possible to add a pre paid account into the system to deal with these customers as they rarely carry cash and I usually take the coffee to the highway so they are only stopped for a few seconds. Thanks.
Thanks for getting in touch. At the moment Square's POS unfortunately doesn't feature a customer accounts or tab system - this is something you'd need to be tracking outside of Square for now.
One possible workaround solution would be to use our gift card system. There is a cost outlay for the physical gift cards, however they can be re-used once the amount has expired. The other option is an e-gift card, which is essentially a number tied to customer credit that is manually entered at point of sale.
