Tried to open my store last night and no printers are working, these are ones that have been connected for over 2 years and worked fine the day before. now i get a message saying printing is disabled and ive tried everything. the printers work on other devices so they are definatly in usb mode and work. the problem is on both my stand and the terminal i bought yesterday and i'm going nuts trying to run a sports event with 150 people buying tickets etc

So sorry to hear about this.
Before I look into this further, I have a few questions:
1) When looking at your Square Stand, which the printer is trying to connect to, is the iPad's battery charging while in the Square Stand? This is the best indicator to make sure that the iPad is connected to the Square Stand properly. If it's battery is not charging, this means that the iPad cannot connect to anything plugged into it's USB hub (which the printer would be connected to).
2) Have you taken a look and tried these troubleshooting steps?
3) Which printer models do you have?
