Test Partial Payments in the Invoices Request Deposit Beta

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to announce that we’ve rolled out a beta for accepting partial payments with Square Invoices!

This new feature will allow you to create a single invoice and track multiple payments on that invoice. This may also be useful for those of you who want to accept a deposit and collect the rest of the amount due later.

We know this is a feature many of you have been waiting for, so I hope you’ll help us test it out!

By using partial payments and providing us feedback, you will directly influence and improve the Square Invoices product. So please share your reactions and input.

Fantastic. Please allow my account access to the beta version. I have a Private Detective Agency. I require a deposit to be paid prior to any surveillance begin conducted. After surveillance is concluded, I settle up any difference with the client (partial refund or additional payment). Thanks.

I would like to accept partial payment on my invoice the same way that paypal allow us to do?

Will you please let me know how to do this. I have the invoice created and I sent to customer but there is no option to partial pay.

Please advise.

This feature has already been enabled on your acccout. Sorry for any confusion. You should have received an email about the feature. To get started, head to invoces on your Dashboard and select "request deposit."
