Test Partial Payments in the Invoices Request Deposit Beta

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to announce that we’ve rolled out a beta for accepting partial payments with Square Invoices!

This new feature will allow you to create a single invoice and track multiple payments on that invoice. This may also be useful for those of you who want to accept a deposit and collect the rest of the amount due later.

We know this is a feature many of you have been waiting for, so I hope you’ll help us test it out!

To join the beta click 'Reply' immediately below this post, leave a comment to let me know you’re interested, and I’ll enable it for your account.

By using partial payments and providing us feedback, you will directly influence and improve the Square Invoices product. So please share your reactions and input.

Cheers,

Howard, Square Beta Team

It will sign you up for the Beta immediately. I tested it yesterday and I couldn't be happier!!!

How long from the time of request to the time of activation?

Loving this update but one issue so far. The default balance due date is 30 days. This will need to be adjusted as some customers are complete with projects in less than 30 days. For instance, by turnaround time averages 5-10 business days. If they pay a deposit, it saying that I will deliver the product and balance will not be due for another 20-25 days.

Yes, please, I’d love to have the beta on this!

Please sign me up! This would be super helpful

I know it’s in beta, but this would be awesome if it works on the app!

@Infinitybouquet Currently you will only be able to view these invoices within the app. You are only to be able to request deposits within the Dashboard at this time.
