Feature Request: Customer login or profile for Square Online website

Im considering creating my online store with square.  My skincare company requires that the pricing not be shown publicly.  Is there a way to have a customer login before they shop?

Just bumping this to also add my vote for this feature request! This would be an amazing way to retain customer and increase their ability to track their loyalty rewards, past purchases, track shipping and more! Maybe even keep a single gift card on file and continue to reload it similar to what Starbucks has? Or have multiple gift cards tied to their account that they can easily see the balance of each one at a glance without having to type each one in individually on our website!

Just want to make sure I understand your ask here: Are you wanting this feature to be available on the non-professional or higher Online Store plans?

If so, you can reach out to the Square Online Store Support Team and they can fill out a Voice of the Seller form for you, similar to a feature request. To learn more about how these requests work, please see this post from one of our Seller Community Moderators.

In the meantime, keep an eye out for any updates, here, in our Seller Community. We appreciate your input.

@_Violet I currently have the highest paid online store plan for my cafe (grovetealounge.online). I would love for this to be a feature included in this plan. Not sure if it matters or not, but we do not use the "Order Online" template - we use the "Shop All" template even though we are a cafe/coffee shop.

While I have you - I'd LOVE it if you guys could make self-serve QR code ordering available for those of us with "Shop All" online store templates!  The layout is way more conducive for how we want our customers to interact with us when ordering online but it stinks that we are locked out of such a great feature like self-serve ordering. Just sayin 🙂

I can certainly tag your feature requests here, but I will suggest again that you reach out to the Square Online Store Support Team so they can fill out the Voice of the Seller form for you. Feature requests related to the Square Online Store work a little differently than requests for the Square Point of Sale and the Online Store Team will have access to escalating these requests further for you.

I've seen requests for this feature going back at least 2 years now.  Can the product team please give us a reasonable update on when this is targeted for release?

Our website offers our products at retail to any and all potential customers. We also sell our products wholesale to other businesses. Is there a way to create a page where our existing wholesale customers can log in and place an order with us?
