In the online store is there a way to display the quantities of each item in stock to the customer?

For example lets say I have 20 of a certain item left in stock, I need the customer to know when looking at said item that there is only 20 remaining.

This is no longer accurate. You have changed your Settings - where is updated, accurate information on where to do this?

The nonprofit organization I work for would also like this feature request. We sell day camp spots on our Square online store and certain dates sell out quickly and some dates have many spots lefts for a long time. Our customers are getting frustrated because they can't tell at a quick glance how many spots are left for a certain date. They're often registering multiple children for the camp so the parents need to know how many spots are left. We've instructed our customers "If the site prevents you from adding quantities, then that specific camp date has reached the 18 person limit and you will be unable to add additional quantities to your cart." However, this process in very tedious for the customer because there are so many dates that they need to check the quantity of individually. I would love for the quantity remaining to publicly display besides each date in the dropdown, as well as "out of stock" to display beside each date in the dropdown. Also, you can see in my screenshot that the one date that has spots left - July 29 - is a hardly noticeable different shade of gray, but our customers aren't picking up on this. The way Square currently has this is not working for our organization. Please add the feature to display the remaining quantities.

It would be great if there was a way to show an Item's Exact Quantity on the website. I sell jewelry and we often have brides shopping for bridal parties. If they know that they needed 6 matching necklaces, they would be able to see which items had at least 6 in stock. They would also not be able to purchase 6 if there were only 3 in stock.

Looks like this is over a year old and hasn't been added yet.   Here is an example of why the current experience isn't good for the customer or the store.   I have an item that is frequently ordered 1 at a time or up to three or four dozen.  Customers come to the site and can select 2 or they can + up to 36. The problem with the current system is that if I only have 6 of this item in stock, the customer doesn't know that. They just see that the website won't let them put in more than 6. It appears broken.  There is no message when they try to click the + sign to go to 7 that says "there are only 6 in stock", it just appears broken.  A broken website is both a bad experience for the customer and makes us as sellers look bad because the customer can't get what they want and they don't know why.  

 

The terrible kludge here is to put a big awkward message that says something like "the website will only allow you to purchase from stock available" or something like that.  But it doesn't appear WHERE the customer is running into the problem.  This is a pretty poor experience and needs some sort of solution.  Even just a message that tells the customer why they can't add an additional item would be helpful.

I have the same issue. Customers purchasing tickets need to see quantity available.

Here's another online store bug. Why can't Square get this straight? Item is sold out. Square is showing one available. When someone tries tor add to cart, Square displays the following alert.

Have you reached out to our CS Team about this? If it's a bug or issue, I'd like you to report it to them directly. They will have the ability to flag this over to our engineering team, if needed. 1-855-700-6000. Also, they can see if this is account specific or other sellers are seeing something similar.
