Feature Request: Limit the quantity of an item a customer can purchase on my Square Online website

The title of this post has been edited from the original: How do I Limit the Quantity A Customer Can Purchase of an Item?

I have a very limited number inventory on an item in my online store. Is there a way to limit the number a customer can purchase in a single transaction? Example: "Limit 4 per Customer".

This is not available at this time but a great Feature that would be.

There has been no movement on this or a number of other enhancement requests. We do however get posts from "Square partners" but most micro businesses cannot afford to keep giving away income. Come on Square, please be a bit more responsive to your customer base.

Hello everyone, 

I have started my own online embroidery design selling business and have  few questions. I am wondering if I can set a limit of orders/product amount per week?? I am a one lady team, that does all the hand embroidery myself, and don’t want to get bombarded with over 25 hand embroidered hoops a week. 

I am strictly online as well, I do not have a physical location.

In the meantime can the quantity selector have the option to be missing from the product page?  I only want my customers to order 1 of each as each item is personalised

Chiming in to agree with all the others. This feature is very much needed. We post our quantity limits on hot items and they’re often ignored requiring us to have to cancel orders and eat the fees.

Add us to the list of customers who need there to be an option to limit order quantities!!! Would like to be able to limit certain items, and have a maximum total of items for each order to be shipped.

Hi - Since there is not a way to set a maximum quantity for item sales, I am wondering if there is a way to review online orders before accepting the order and processing payment?
