ONLINE ORDER KITCHEN TICKET

I WOULD LIKE THE KITCHEN TICKET FOR AN ONLINE ORDER TO TELL ME IF THE CUSTOMER REQUESTED THE PICKUP TIME OR IF THEY WANT IT ASAP

@GWTS Are you printing your order tickets automatically through the POS, or do you print them manually?  Generally speaking, with the prep time versus scheduled pick up, the system will give them the ASAP time of (time right now + Prep Time) and the ticket prints automatically once the order comes in.  With a scheduled order, the customer schedules the pick up time and then the system will print the ticket as (Scheduled Time - Prep Time) xx:xx.

So what you get is an ASAP ticket with a 10 min prep placed at 2pm comes up and is listed at 2:10pm pick up.  If you get a scheduled pickup for 2:30pm, the ticket should print out around 2:20pm for the 2:30pm.  This timing can be a minute or 2 off depending on what the system is doing in my experience.

So properly flowing, the kitchen should know that every ticket that comes in, is ready to be made then.

BTW: Excellent work on showing what you want it to look like, love the clear suggestions.

Thank you for your response.  We print both ways.  We are a foodtruck challenged by power and internet connection during travel to the location.  When we arrive, we make sure all orders are printed and organize them by time and by-like items to make sure none are missed.  Then during business, we get tickets at the same time as walk ups.  the 10-minute prep time would change if we got slammed. In the notes section I ask that they wait for the "ready now" message before picking up their order.  If the order is scheduled for a certain time I would like to make sure it ready upon their arrival. When I have 50 tickets on the board I would really like to know if a customer scheduled the time or just wanted asap.  I dont have time to do math in my head.  I know that I can limit the number of orders I get thru square, but it is just an on/off button. It does not give me the option of how many tickets or items would be limited.  the number and type of items on the ticket is what makes the difference.  I do not want to lose sales, I'd rather have tickets ahead of time and know when I have to Rally!
