Feature Request: Allow staff to mark when they are not available + request time or days off

We are enjoying the new scheduling features on the Team App - but my staff need to be able to request specific days off - not just every Thursday. Or I need to be able to block "OFF" days with a specific date and time. Is this possible?

Having a feature for time off requests would make this scheduling much better and would allow us to shift from 7shifts to square scheduling.  Please consider adding this feature, it is very important.

I am SHOCKED at how archaic and not efficient their scheduling is compared to all the other features they have. They literally thought of EVERYTHING for payroll. But for scheduling, my staff can't put their availability in for specific dates, not just days of the week. And they can't request time off? Like what is the point of having a scheduling ap. 

There are so many business' that their team works different shifts every week...and are available at different time every week. The scheduling is so bad that we will just cancel our subscription and go back to WHEN I WORK. The fact that Square even charges for a "plus" version is a joke. 

We need: 

• The ability for staff to request time off: ie. Vacations in advance, etc. 
• The ability for them to edit their availability a month at a time: ie. they normally can work Friday nights but two Fridays in April they need off those evenings. I need to be able to see that in advance so I can approve other staff's request for not working that night, so I don't let all my staff have the same night off. 
• The ability to put in their availability for when they're NOT available. 
• The ability to create shift templates: Ie. Our 2 shifts are AM/PM (7am-12pm) (3pm-8pm) and to easily just click a button for one or the other and not have to manually enter that in every single shift. 
• The ability to see the date associated with the day of the week they are putting in their availability. 

So disappointing square.

Seriously need the option for requesting time off. I just read something that it's coming soon... it can't come soon enough especially with summer vacation schedules taking over! Any thoughts on when this could be available?

Yes, yes! This feature is extremely important. I run multiple businesses and I can't just track time off requests through text messages or my employees telling me in passing. This feature is crucial to make this portion of Square feasible for businesses.

We NEED the ability for employees to request time off (certain dates/times). Summer is fast approaching and everyone is planning their vacations! PLEASE, Square, get this added on ASAP!!

I am now using Square Teams Plus for the scheduling capabilities for my staff, however, there is no way for my staff to request time off.  When is this going to be added?  It's a pretty essential part of scheduling a team.

They can set their weekly availability but they can not request time off for personal reasons, vacations, etc...

Please make time off requests available in your app!!! This is a huge hassle for us as employers and our employees.  Do you know when this will be available on your app? Everything else works great, but this inconvenience makes us want to switch back to the free app we were using.

which states right at the bottom of the page,  that app users can request time off from the app - the feature listed in the article is missing from my app so wondering if it was a permissions issue??

Any ideas??? @ashc ??  This needs adding urgently!

I have spent hours on the phone and chatting with the square support team yesterday and can't get a straight answer as to why this option isn't in the app. I truly think that the app hasn't been updated with this yet as the latest version was released 4 months ago.
