So my business is mainly an online boutique soI send invoices for items purchased. Can the loyalty program still work via invoices or does it have to be an acutal card swiped?

I thought I wanted Loyalty points on my invoices but I'm actually preferring it not to be.
If someone pays me right away for my product/service they get the points. If they want "terms" where I invoice them for a later date or multiple payments they don't get the points.
It's nice to say "sure I can invoice you and you can make a payment over a period of time but you don't get your loyalty points!" Provides an incentive to pay in full up front.
Unfortunately, Square's Loyalty program does not integrate with Square Invoices. I absolutely see how it would be useful to have that feature on our Square Invoices.

I’m frustrated as well. 85% of my business is by invoices. If I’m going to pay for the loyalty program I want it to be available to all of my customers. Not cool. I guess I’ll cancel before my 30 day trial is completed as I can’t justify paying $25+ per month for only 15% of my customers to benefit.
Please, PLEASE link invoices to the loyalty reward!!! We are a 90% invoiced business and would love to offer this reward to our customers. Using the register in place of invoicing is very time consuming when it could easily be integrated with invoicing.
Please work on making this a possibility. I want a loyalty program that I can offer my clients to set us apart from our competitors, but since all my transactions are through Square Invoicing, I'm not able to. You are missing out on a lot of business because of this. I would start paying the monthly subscription immediately if this were an option.
I run a pickup and delivery business and invoice 100% of my customers (and pay the higher fees in order to do so - but no other way of collecting payment is feasible). I'm so disappointed that I can't run a loyalty program for them - so I'm casting my vote to have this feature added. A simple update email to the customer, or an addition to their receipt, and/or the ability to view their progress would be huge - as well as a check-in email if they have lapsed, to remind them to schedule a pickup to keep earning their stars.
I just signed up for the 30-day trial and am disappointed to learn the Loyalty program does not work with invoicing. I will be cancelling before the end of my trial period and going back to tracking points manually. Such a bummer.

I don't have a "store" set up with square, but I do have my clients in segments (root for up coming question). I also utilize the "invoicing" as well as the pos via mobile app on the rare ocassion that I am "in person".
I would like to be able to offer my clients with the option to use a "discount" promo code on their invoices (as in create their own sale). I've seen other square users advertise 'use xyz code' and get A% off.
How do I give my customers a discount code for them to apply to THEIR invoices that have already been sent out to them? In essence, I guess this would turn into a split payment?
