Can my customers book multiple days at once?

Hello! I run a dog-walking business and am wondering if there is a way for my customers to book appointments on multiple days at once instead of having to re-enter their info every time.

 

I.E., Rufus needs a walk on 5/22, 5/24-5/25 and 5/28.

While you can enable your customers to book multiple servies with the same staff member, you're not able to book multiple days for the same appointment. 

 

They'll need to go through the booking flow for each day, or have you manually add these appointments for them on your end through your calendar in your Appointments Dashboard.

Hmm, I'm not sure Appointments would be ideal for this scenario. At least currently, Square Appointments does not offer full day or overnight booking. You could create a "service" that would act as a reservation, and have it fill your available appointment time for a particular day, but it may look pretty confusing from the customer's perspective.

I teach classes that typically are either 8-weeks long. Is there a way to set my appointment calendar to reflect that the duration of a class is 8-weeks? For ex, if I'm doing an 8-week class that runs weekly on Tuesdays from 10am-11am, how would I set this up? And will the calendar allow for multiple people to sign up in that slot?

Hey @expressivehands - We currently don't have the option to create a service that lasts for more than 23 hours at this time, but I've merged your post with the feature request thread for this so you can stay updated with any changes. The ability to have multiple people sign up for group classes is also still a feature request and that thread can be found here.

I know this is an older thread but @QuestionsfromMN  is absolutely correct.  I just started using Square for the exact same exact reason.  I would love to be able to make appointments for our rental property like they mentioned.

Hello, I am operating an entertainment business where some of my services extend throughout the week for my customers. Square only allows appointment times up to 24 hours. I would like to be able to place something like "To Be Determined" in the appointment time sections. Something similiar to the price section where it says "prices vary." Can anyone help me with this?

@myfament At this time there isn't a way to extend the service duration to more than 24 hours and there isn't a way to show something else (like TBD) instead. This is a feaure request we're tracking in this thread

My dog sitting business needs to have the ability for clients to 1) book by day and 2) book for multiple days at a time. The 23 hrs and 55 mins doesn't work for my business and I'm sure a lot of other businesses could use this fix since there have been multiple requests based on RV businesses, and Bed & Breakfast Businesses. So when they click on the "book now" from my website and it brings them to square appointments, they need to be able to Choose Overnight at Cozy-Pawz on Sept 18th and 19th for a quantity of 2 days and that charges them $25 for each day for at total of $50. Can square make this adjustment to not just book for a number of hours but for multiple days? This is an important enhancement that is a need not just a want. Thank you for your consideration.

Our Appointments team might be able to help you with some work-arounds for all the variables you are looking to create.

 

Most of these though, as of now are Feature Requests for the Appointments App. You can read more about how the Feature Requests work and are prioritized, and we'll be sure to show this to the appropriate team. You definitely bring up good points for your business and others like yours!

Is there still no solution to overnight bookings? I really like the interface however as a recording studio our client base is constantly starting late at night and going over the midnight mark... This would be a huge plus to the Appointments interface. Cheers
