Invoice not delivered

I created an invoice, sent it by email just like normal.  Email came back undeliverable.  The Email address was wrong.  I did "edit" and fixed the issue but your system updated the customer file but would not let me resend the existing invoice with the info: it wanted me to cancel this one and redo it.  Why don't I have an option to resend an invoice by email after an update or change has been made.  I had to go through 4 steps to get another bill sent over to my customer.  While doing all of this I realized the invoices that are sent via email are hokey, narrow, and was a 3 page invoices: nothing like the PDF invoice that you get if you just print it, scan it and email it yourself.  Why don't I have the option to send the invoice as the PDF, if I did have that option I would never send the hokey narrow receipt y'all send now.
