We currently are testing square in a retail setting where we both stock and dropship products. We need to be able to sell products that are currently out of stock (which we can do from the POS terminal) but then also have a report or the receipt show that an item is backordered or waiting to be fulfilled. Does anyone know of a solution for this? Seems like basic functionallity that is missing for a retail environment.
