Feature Request: Create packages including multiple services via Square Appointments

The title of this post has been edited from the original: How to schedule multi packs with Square Appointments?

 

Hoping to find some help here.  We offer a service that clients can pay for and book appointments online. Great. The problem is that there are discounted packages if multiple treatments are purchased at one time, if this option is chosen, the client is only able to schedule one appointment as opposed to multiple separate appointments for each of the treatments they purchase.  Is there a way to make this work? Thanks in advance.

As a workaround you could use recurrning invoices with Square Appointments for a package, and view the number of invoices remaining in the series. However, you can't images to a recurring invoice series, I'm sorry!

 

Another workaround is to create a single service for package deals you offer but you'd need to track the number of sessions completed manually. You could ask customers to contact you directly for packages, and then schedule each session in the package deal as a separate appointment to ensure clients are charged for each session.

 

I'm adding your post to this thread where other sellers are interested in using Appointments to create and manage packages. We'll update the status to give you a heads up about any developments on this feature request.

Yep! While we don't have a way to automatically apply discounts when customers book more than one service, you can create bundles as individual services. For example if you are a personal trainer, you can list 5 sessions at the discounted price as one appointment. 

 

When your customer comes in for their first appointment, you then can manually book their next, or all upcoming, appointments through your Appointments Dashboard. In your client information section of Dashboard you have the ability to add notes and view past appointments so you can keep track of their remaining appointments even if the schedule one at a time!

This is ridiculous.  since at least 2016 people have been requesting this little bit of code - it isn't a hard routine to write.  please do this.   These workarounds do NOT WORK

Well, I held out as long as I possibly could.   Unfortunately Square is showing that they don't want to provide this most basic update into the Appointments system.   Between this and the request to offer discount codes for appointments not being available, I have had to do the terrible thing and switch booking software.   This truly stinks because my website is through Square and I am trying to get everything integrated into one specific program.   

Square doesn't offer this option. Try Acuity, which I think is actually owned by Square. The bummer part is, that not only does Square take a cut... but Acuity (owned by Square) takes a(nother) cut... It would be nice if Square just included the software ability in it's Square software offering.

With my business I sell prepaid Packages. I am a massage therapist and sell a package of 10 prepaid 1 hour sessions

I offer this to give my customers a discount while insuring they come back and see me 9 more times. I would love a option in Square Appointments to keep track of how many they have used and how many they have remaining. 

 

Also Client Intake From where I can create a custom field where they can fill out conditions, medications and areas they want massaged ect.It would be nice also to include a option for a real digital signature they could use on their phone or tablet with their finger to sign.

I believe it's been requested, but please add SESSION TRACKING ABILITY: Set up a customer profile to track how many sessions remain. ALLOW MULTIPLE PEOPLE TO BOOK A TIME SLOT: People that run group training sessions (allow a limit to each time slot)

@Arie  We were told this feature was on the roadmap for 2021. Has it been bumped off or should we expect to see an update in the last quarter?

I'm confused as to why this has take over 5 years and still seems we are being told not to expect anything again this year.  The code itself is not that complex.
