Feature Request: Schedule multiple staff for single appointment

Hello. I'm wondering how I can set up scheduling couples massages? I need to be able to have two employees selected when they choose this appointment type. I've tried explaining to a customer the steps to take to schedule two appointments for the same time with two different therapists but this showed to be too inconvenient and they said they'd rather just call in. 

Any help appreciated.

I went to check on this request and the ability to process separate sales for each provider on one ticket isn't available at this time. Thank you for showing why this feature is important for your spa.

 

For now, you'll need to process each service separately to make sure the proper employee gets credit. Appreciate your patience as we make improvements based on seller feedback!

Hi @Tom thanks for staying on top of this issue. It would be immensely helpful if we could at least go back into a transaction and re-assign the sales person. With multiple salespersons al sharing one POS it’s inevitable and frankly very common for people to ring up clients with someone else’s access code. This makes paying commissions a nightmare for me... I feel like this should be a pretty easy feature to implement (having been a developer myself for over 15 years). It doesn’t touch the transaction side of the equation (who paid, when, what cc, IP address etc etc). Would love to know if this could be added to a roadmap!

Thanks for chinming in on this @gfnk and for sharing your specific business need. I definitely agree it would be a helpful feature, so we'll continue to advocate for this to be reprioritized with our Payments team and hopefully we get something rolled out in the future.

i have four diffenrt engineers i use to work with clients who book time ..

i want to be able to track who work the sessions and keep track of their work time all in same place

@prosoundstudio I've moved your post here so you can see Tom's Best Answer about booking overlapping sessions with Square Appointments. Your clients won't be able to book overlapping sessions using your online booking site, but you can schedule sessions from the Appointments Calendar on their behalf.

Not to pile on, but this seems like a relatively easy feature to add and clearly would be beneficial to many of your clients. I am frustrated as well with this issue, as I am offering services with up to 6 servicers needed for a single appointment. The fact that these requests are almost 2 years old and there is still no fix in sight is very disappointing. I am currently looking at other booking systems, many of which have more features and are less expensive (and fully integrated with Square payments) and I assume many others are doing the same. I doubt Square is happy to push clients towards other platforms, but this type of non-response in a commercial relationship is unacceptable.

I have a spa and I want to know if a client has multiple services by different providers, how does this get processed / rung up? 3 swipes?   If a client is getting a facial, massage and blowout I would like for it to add it all up but with the amounts in each providers report.

Hello, 

I run a hair salon. I have multiple independent service providers. My goal is to streamline payments for my patrons. sometimes patrons come in and see two or 3 different service providers at a time. Is it possible to add multiple staff members to one checkout? If so, how is this done?
