Feature Request: Schedule multiple staff for single appointment

Hello. I'm wondering how I can set up scheduling couples massages? I need to be able to have two employees selected when they choose this appointment type. I've tried explaining to a customer the steps to take to schedule two appointments for the same time with two different therapists but this showed to be too inconvenient and they said they'd rather just call in. 

Any help appreciated.

I went to check on this request and the ability to process separate sales for each provider on one ticket isn't available at this time. Thank you for showing why this feature is important for your spa.

 

For now, you'll need to process each service separately to make sure the proper employee gets credit. Appreciate your patience as we make improvements based on seller feedback!

I own a automotive detailing facility and I would like the ability to add multiple staff members to one appointment, if possible!

 

I have 2 employees working on each vehicle and would like to give them the ability to see their schedule for the next day/week.

 

I was also curious to know if any new features are planned for the Appointments module? Such as adding custom fields for data collection? I add all details to the appointment notes section but the added functionality with custom fields would be great!

Thats been one of our biggest issues.

 

We've had mother and daughter come in for services provided from two separate estheticians, but then the mother wants to pay for both services. We only get the option to enter one PIN for all the services so the other technician's sale doesn’t reflect in their analytics, which in a way makes the analytics inaccurate and therefore somewhat useless. The only way around that is to inconvenience the customer by asking them to swipe twice for two separate transactions.


The PIN modal is bad anyways, we had a meeting at Square and discussed this with the product team. If we have 8 technicians and a receptionist ringing up sales, is she really supposed to fumble between 8 PINs throughout the day every day to make sure everybody is properly getting credit for the work they are doing? Why not photo to assign each service to any technician who had a part in the total sale. For us when there has been a mistake we have no way to go into the sale and reassign it to the correct technician. Mistakes like that should not be etched in stone, all transactions should be able to be reassigned to another worker from an admin level. Along with multiple employees being added to a single transaction.

 

By chance did you ever figure this out? I have the same issue and would love to be able to figure this out...

Hi there!

 

While you can enable support for multiple services with a single staff member, there isn’t a way to add services with multiple staff members at this time.

 

The ability to add custom fields for Appointments is also not yet available. 

 

I think both of these requests are great ideas and our Appointments team is aware of them. I'll be sure to pass along the request to the Product Team. 

 

Hopefully another Appointments user can chime in with a workaround that they currently use.

At this time, the ability to set up group appointments with multiple employees and/or multiple clients isn't available with Square Appointments. For now, what you're doing with having your couples massage clients call in is the best workaround. You can then manually schedule an overlapping session. Tom, has there been any update on this feature request?  Booking multple staff for a single appointment is critical to our business as well and would save us a lot of time and increase online bookings.
