Feature Request: Schedule multiple staff for single appointment

[Note: the title of this thread has been edited by a moderator for clarity.]

Hello. I'm wondering how I can set up scheduling couples massages? I need to be able to have two employees selected when they choose this appointment type. I've tried explaining to a customer the steps to take to schedule two appointments for the same time with two different therapists but this showed to be too inconvenient and they said they'd rather just call in.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Derrick

Re: checking out client with multiple providers

Hey @Skp, welcome to the seller community!

I went to check on this request and the ability to process separate sales for each provider on one ticket isn't available at this time. Thank you for showing why this feature is important for your spa.

For now, you'll need to process each service separately to make sure the proper employee gets credit. Appreciate your patience as we make improvements based on seller feedback!

Thanks!  I need customers to be able to make an appt with two different people in the same reservation. So this does say it doesn’t do that. Bummer!

Thanks for jumping in with that link, @Goldneye 😊

You're right, @SWDC_Booster - this is currently considered a feature request. I've gone ahead and moved your post over to the thread where we are tracking interest so that your voice is added here with the others.

I'm looking for a way to add more than one staff member to a job. I have a service business and sometimes I need more than one person to provide our services at the same location.

I tried to add multiple service members to a project but Square would only allow one member per job. I ended up having to send to an appointment notification to both team members separately and not include the client in the second notification to the staff member.

Does anybody have any advice on how to send one notification that includes all parties involved in the project?

For a massage spa. We book appointments sometimes in pairs. Therefore 2 people would use 1 resource being the room.
I have a total of 3 rooms, which can accommodate 3 individuals or 6 pairs of 2 or a combination in between. How can I use resources to help avoid resource overbooking? We could have a service for a massage x2, but then we have the issue of assigning that to 2 massage therapists. Making sure we avoid therapist overbooking.

Heya @KachinaSpa,

I'm moving your post to an existing feature request thread for having multiple service providers in one service.

At the time there's not a way to do this with our Appointments software but it's a request we're tracking here.

I am trying to figure out a way for a customer to book an appointment for service that requires more than one team member to perform the service.  It seems that they can only select one team member.  Is there a way to create specific services that will require more than one team member?

For instance, we provide cleaning services.  Some homes are so large, that one team member cannot handle it.  It will require 2 or more people.  Can we set this up?

This is currently a feature request, so I moved your post to this thread where others have asked for the same capability, @MaidInManalapan. When we have an announcement to make, we will be sure to post it here, so stay subscribed to be notified when this becomes available!

Is there a workaround that is known?

I don't believe anyone has come up with a workaround. We have a note on our site for those seeking appointments with multiple providers to call us.
