Feature request - Appointments discounts.

Square is great for selling items on your website. Also for creating coupons and discounts for said items. 

However, if you sell bookable services via Square appointments you cannot give your customers a discount code to use on your website to book your services. 

An example. I am an online tutor. I want to conduct online tests which students book using square appointments on my website. The test costs £10 and I want students to prepay for the service when they book it online.

 

I would like to be able to create coupons that provide discounts for individual students for the services they book via the Square appointments page on my website.

 

At present I am allowing students to book online without prepayment and issuing invoices to each student when they book something and applying discounts manually. 

Please please please can you look into making this feature viable. It’s the only gripe I have.

Please add this! I run a massage business and want to offer discounts. At present I'm having to offer discounts on gift cards....which people can then use to buy services. This is way to long and winded so people don't bother. Not having this is losing both me and Square sales/money!

Thanks for getting behind this feature request and for giving some context around why this would be beneficial to your business in particular.

 

While we don’t offer the ability for clients to enter a promo or coupon code when booking online, you can still create discounts that can be applied when collecting payment with the Square Point of Sale app.

 

To drive sales and as an alternative to issuing Gift Cards, you can also send coupons to your subscribed customers using Square Marketing.

Yeh but I need the customer to pay when booking so I can enforce my cancellation policy so can't wait to pay in person. 

 

And the marketing side of things again won't help as they can only use the coupons in person for appointments.

I appreciate the current limitation isn't ideal @SimonHunter.
