Is there a way for customers to do this? I have a customer that is afraid to use waitlist feature again because of the constant notifications and inability to remove themselves from waitlist.
I need help here. Multiple customers have asked to be removed from waitlist because they weregetting spammed with notifications. Right now, I'm also having trouble finding a customer's name on the waitlist. They forwarded me the email they received regarding their waitlist status, and I was able to find the customer record but can't find them on the actual waitlist.
Please allow customers to remove themselves from the waitlist, add a search by name feature in the waitlist section, or even add waitlist information under client information.
Has this issue been fixed yet?
This has not been fixed yet. On top of that, I have some customers who continue to receive notifications about openings after having secured a spot from waitlist so they end up opting out of email and text entirely.
I had the same problem last year and this year, with the added problem that some of my customers from LAST YEAR’s waitlist are also being spammed! This is just totally unsatisfactory. I have spent hours on the phone with “customer success representatives” and sent multiple emails with screenshots sent to me by customers only to be told that they were working on the problem, and finally that they don’t know what is causing the problem. Although each person I spoke to was super polite, which I appreciated, the fact is that the problem is not solved. It reflects poorly on Square and on my business! I have hundreds of people on the waitlist, so scrolling through to find each customer to remove is ridiculous. I am ready to ditch the waitlist. It’s not saving me any time, and causing me a lot of anxiety due to customer complaints. I think the only way for me to solve the issue is to go in and manually delete each person from last year’s waitlist, which would be super time consuming. And then I still have the problem of people not being able to delete themselves from this year’s waitlist. I cannot recommend waitlist. The idea was alluring, but the reality is pure frustration.
I am having this issue too! PLEASE SQUARE allow clients to remove or edit their waitlist submission!!!!
