Thank you for your question.
We are slowly rolling out access to Square Capital's PPP forgiveness application in batches, starting with non-employers, in order to make sure we can manage the volume of applications. At this time, we can only accept forgiveness applications from sellers with loans under $50,000 that qualify to use the Form 3508S.
If you don't currently have access to the application, please know that we will continue to slowly roll out more access over the next couple weeks. Please keep a lookout on your email and Square Dashboard for an update.
If you have any questions, please contact us.
Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.
We're still working with the SBA to determine where the PPP forgiveness documents will be submitted, however, it will likely be to us.
We'll make sure to update our FAQ page when we have an answer to this question. Thanks for your patience.
Our Capital team posted a new PPP Loan Forgiveness resource page on our Support Center that can be found here.
Thank you all so much for your patience as they rolled this out.
This system is horrible
I need to speak with a LIVE person about this loan. I feel this is a FRAUD.
I need information on the PPP forgiveness with CApital NOT SBA.
I dont want another debt payment added to my already struggling business. The only reason I did the Capital Loan is because it could be forgiven.
I need to SPEAK with a LIVE PERSON
I am not seeing any recent updates from Square on the PPP forgiveness application. Received funds through Square May 1 and have already used funds for payroll, now want to begin the forgiveness process. We do not want to continue to "report" an outstanding loan on our financials.
Any idea when we will be able to apply for forgiveness?
