You can now accept in-person payments from your computer by connecting Square Terminal to Virtual Terminal.
Square Terminal allows you to wirelessly connect to your computer so you can take payments with Virtual Terminal.
With this integrated computer Point of Sale solution, you can:
- Accept every kind of payment. Process sales on your computer and let customers tap or insert any card to pay - right on Square Terminal. Record cash, cheques, Square eGift Cards, and other payments in one place.
- Save on fees with in-person payments. In-person payments are only 1.75% + VAT per transaction, while keyed-in payments are 2.5% + VAT per transaction.
- Streamline your checkout experience. Speed up checkout by adding goods, services, taxes, and discounts to each sale, right from your computer.
- Keep a safe distance. Process a sale like usual while your customer completes the transaction on a separate device.
