Adding a "banner" type image to a specific category page.

I'm trying to add banner image specific category page, is that possible?

At this time it is not possible to add a banner image to a category page. The only work around I can think to do would be to use a standard page that has the banner section, and either the Featured Categories or Featured Item section.

that is a bummer.

we have secured licensing partnerships with a few brands and need to put their logos on those pages.  time to upgrade to a different platform I suppose

Is this being worked on? I tend to look at my website a lot thinking of what I can change or add and the item categories just seem like their missing a little something to make the page more complete, and I think it's the banner.
