Just started with Square Online, in Google Speed Insights I'm getting 7 out of 100, surely that can't be right? I can't go any further with this if that's the delay customers would have to endure.
My Wordpress site, hosted on a shared server is giving 67/100!!!

Hi @Solley ๐
Have you noticed a slow load time when loading your Square Online site? And if so, on which browser and device?
If you share you a link to your site here I'd be happy to take a look.

Thanks, @Solley, I loaded your site and Chrome and Safari just now, and I did not experience any lagging or delays.
We usually use Pingdom to test speed times and I got a good result there too. Have you tried any sites other than Google?

Thank you.
Using Pingdom to test home page, get...
Performance Grade C (77) for UK
Performance Grade C (79) for USA Washington DC
Is C / 77 good?
Now using Pingdom to test my Wordpress site hosted on shared server gives Grade C (99) for UK!

@Breffni @Solley we too find the website load speed performance as a little slow and laggy. We have optimised pictures, removed videos etc and done what we feel we can do to improve page load speed, it's particularly bad for core vitals on the mobile. @Solley try running a test on Google console and see how you perform.
We notice home page speed load is fine but from item pages to item pages it's slow.
