Square on demand delivery: there’s no door dash portal

Just a heads up. When you activate on demand delivery fulfilled by DoorDash it says there’s a portal where you can track dashers and reschedule deliveries. It says this here as well: https://squareup.com/help/ca/en/article/6925-on-demand-delivery-faq

 

“Select On-Demand Delivery to enable delivery by a third-party service provider.
If you have DoorDash as your local delivery service, you can enter an email address to access an optional delivery portal. This portal allows you to track, reschedule or cancel deliveries sent with DoorDash.”

 

The email never arrives. Square support says to contact door dash support. Door dash support says to create a merchant account. But then none of the square orders sync with the DD merchant account.

 

Door dash POS support says it’s totally not possible to reschedule orders placed by Square.
